Sister (c) Fox Lee 1998 (could be 1999) (http://foxlee.arts-eclectic.com) Something reaches me tonight. I am not accustomed to it - The sudden, cold fist that strikes me, and the lingering lump somewhere between collarbone and chin. But at the same time the wonderful warmth of the assurance, the knowledge, that maybe she is as special to me as I had once hoped. It scares me, that it takes a sudden spewing rush of feelings and thoughts that never spoke themselves for me to finally know. Does SHE? All I do is feel. And hope. Hope that the hot taste of guilt like nausea has shown her I care.
