Sunset shadows,
Hiding from the soothing night,
Dying in the fading light,
Longing for the day,
Each one lingers
Through the evening's glory,
each ending their story,
It's sad in a way,
But happiness is knowing
That after each dark night comes a new day

Dewdrops kissing flowers,
Morning sun burns them away,
So much dies with each new day,
But no-one seems to care, (No-one seem to see it anywhere)
Through flashing water leaping,
Through grassy plains sweeping,
Somewhere there's someone weeping,
Isn't life unfair?
But happiness is knowing
The power to make a change must be there

So now that this shadow comes, on all of us it falls,
There's no time to care about the differences in as all,
If we don't stand together, we will fall apart,
I don't care how far we've come, this is just the start...
